I was recently sent a Powerbag Sling like the one pictured above. I figured there was no better place to try it out then Toy Fair 12 In NYC. To be honest I was a little nervous going though the airport security with it. I was a bit afraid they would think I was trying to carry a bomb on board. I was very relieved when I was able to pass right through without even a second glance.
The Sling retails for between $100 and $140. Let me assure you, if your a techie or frequent traveler this may well be the best money you have ever spent. When I travel I am forever looking for a place to charge my phone or laptop. With this bag I was able to keep both with a full charge all day each day at the fair.
The material is durable and the quality of workmanship on the bag makes me confident that I will have it for a long time. The bag also comes with a one year Warranty.
The sling is big enough to hold all of your things without being to big or heavy for a female traveler. One of the features I like about it is that there is a reversible strap. Making it easy to carry it on either shoulder.
There are four zippered sections on the bag. The front one is where you plug in your electronics. The middle one has room for a couple books or what have you. The back section is padded for your laptop. It will hold up to a 14″ laptop. On the side there is a small zippered section, I found this section perfect for a change purse, keys and my camera.
I love that you can go on the Powerbag Website and buy an extra battery. You can also buy one with more power.
The Powerbags also come in Backpacks, Messenger Bags and Briefcases. There is a size and color that is perfect for everyone. I can tell you that I will not travel again without my PowerBag.
Though I was sent a PowerBag Sling to review all opinions of the product are my own and I was in no way influenced to write a positive review.
